Two International Delight coffee creamer varieties have been recalled due to customer complaints of spoilage and illness.
The FDA has recalled more than 12,500 cases of International Delight Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll and Hazelnut coffee creamers sold in 31 states, including Florida, Texas, and New York.
The recall affects 32-ounce bottles of International Delight Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll (best-by July 3) and Hazelnut (best-by July 2) with plant code 51-4114 S.
Health officials confirm the illness is neither Ebola nor Marburg. Investigations are ongoing to identify the unknown disease.
The FDA categorized the recall as a Class II risk, meaning the product may cause temporary or medically reversible health issues.
Danone North America stated, “We take every concern to heart. Testing confirms this is not a food safety issue, but we’re recalling the products out of an abundance of caution.”
International Delight received complaints of spoilage and illness from customers who used the affected creamers. The recall was initiated on February 21, 2024.
The creamers were sold in 31 states, including Alabama, Texas, New York, Florida, and more. Check your pantry if you live in these areas.
